After Sue spent most of her 30s and 40s attending her two children’s school events, which resulted in a lot of “sitting time” on bleachers, she decided it was a good time to challenge herself both physically and mentally. Sue always enjoyed the classes that she had taken at the Waukon Wellness Center and thought that perhaps teaching a class might get her out of her comfort zone, as well as keep her motivated to continue on her path to a healthy lifestyle. Sue hopes that being over a “certain age” might inspire others to get moving as well, regardless of the number of birthdays they’ve seen!
In Sue’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bruce. She is an avid reader and enjoys crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Sue also enjoys walking with her dog, Toby. She has two grown children, Erin (Jesse) Bunge and Kyle.
